About Kristina

Kristina grew up amid multiple divorces and a house full of sisters in small-town Texas before moving to New York City, where she became a high school teacher in the South Bronx.


A wholesome, down-home comedian, she brings heartfelt eldest-sister/teacher energy to the stage which is sharply contrasted by her bold, shameless punchlines. Her material draws from her experience as a gay ’90s kid from an unconventional rural family and her wild coming-of-age as an NYC transplant.

Comedy Credits

Kristina did her first 2 Off-Broadway performances in spring 2025, immediately followed by a summer run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival (where she was also crowned an IKEA Wars Champion). She was in ‘Best of the Fest’ at Burbank Comedy Festival '22, a '21 Semi-Finalist in NYC Queer Comedy Festival (Yaaas Fest!), '21 Finalist in the Comfy Comedy Clash, and performed in the '22 Portland Maine Comedy Festival, the '23 Midwest Queer Comedy and Baton Rouge Improv Festivals, '25 LGTBLOL Comedy Festival (NOLA), and the '24 & '25 Knockouts Festival. 


Kristina has played The Comic Strip Live, New York Comedy Club, Flappers (LA),  Comedy House New Orleans. She can be seen regularly around NYC and the tri-state area and has played in Scotland, California, Florida, Louisiana, Maine, Ohio, New Jersey, New York and Texas.

Dumpster Fire Comedy is a stand-up show turning life’s chaos into pure laughter. If the world’s a dumpster fire, we might as well laugh through it — together.


Dumpster Fire had a successful run at the Edinburgh Fringe Fest in 2025!  

We were part of the Knockouts Women's Comedy Festival in 2024 and 2025.

Our monthly shows and weekly open mics are on hiatus for exciting upcoming comedy ventures!

Producing

Prior to producing her own events under Dumpster Fire Productions, Kristina worked in production for stadium and arena concerts, as well as, theatre and small-scale comedy shows and events. She coordinated volunteers for venues and scheduling for the Black Women in Comedy Laff Fest 2024. In 2023, Dumpster Fire officially became a small business and began their partnership with Stonewall for their first Monday shows and open mics. In 2025, she took the Dumpster Fire Comedy Line-up Show to Edinburgh Fringe. She also produced the NYC run of Paperclip: The Musical at Soho Playhouse.
